Peru’s most prominent production company, Tondero, run by Miguel Valladares, has officially set up an outpost in Madrid, following its fifth co-production in Spain, the upcoming “A Family” (“Una familia”) by celebrated Spanish actor-writer Ricardo Gómez (“Las aguas mansas”) in his first directorial outing.
With “A Family,” Tondero lays the groundwork for its new office in Madrid, which will facilitate its access to Spain’s filming incentives and co-production treaties with other countries. Tondero España is currently developing two feature films and a series for streaming services.
