WASHINGTON, USA — Washington state’s minimum wage is going up again in 2026.
Washington’s 2025 minimum wage is $16.66, which is the highest state minimum wage in the nation, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Overall, it’s second only to Washington, D.C., which has a district minimum wage of $17.95.
In 2026, the minimum hourly rate for employees will increase to $17.13 an hour.
