Seattle’s minimum wage will increase in 2026. Here’s how much employees must get paid hourly.
SEATTLE — Seattle’s minimum wage is going up in 2026, the city’s Office of Labor Standards (OLS) announced Tuesday.
Seattle’s minimum wage ordinance requires the hourly rate to increase annually, on par with inflation in the Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue area.
The new wage for 2026 will be $21.30 an hour, up from $20.76 in 2025.
All businesses, regardless of size, will be required to pay their employees at least that much. An exemption for small businesses, which allowed employers to count tips and payments to a medical benefit plan
