The SCAD Savannah Film Festival has announced “Eternity,” “Song Sung Blue,” and “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery” as its opening, centerpiece, and closing night gala presentations for this year’s 28th annual event.
This year’s edition will open Saturday, Oct. 25, with a screening of the A24 drama “Eternity,” directed by David Freyne. The film stars Elizabeth Olsen, Miles Teller, and Callum Turner in a story set in the afterlife, where souls have one week to choose their eternal fate. Teller will receive the Distinguished Performance Award following the screening, presented by his co-star and fellow honoree, Oscar winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph (“The Holdovers”).
