The Ryder Cup will be decorated in European blue for the next two years.
Despite an incredible charge from the United States side during Sunday singles, the Europeans prevailed. Following Saturday’s matches the Europeans held a 11.5-4.5 lead over the Americans, a matter that evened out to 12-5 before Sunday began as Viktor Hovland withdrew. Harris English was left out of the United States lineup per the tournament’s “envelop rule.”
Shane Lowry won it all for his fellow Europeans.
