Law enforcement from around the region will conduct special DUI patrols this weekend to honor Trooper Christopher Gadd, killed by a drunk driver last year.
MARYSVILLE, Wash. — Nearly every state trooper in Washington will be conducting special patrols this weekend looking for impaired drivers in honor of one of their own killed by a drunk driver on Interstate 5 last year.
All weekend, every trooper available in Washington will be working DUI emphasis patrols. Police in Marysville and Everett along with troopers in Idaho and Oregon are doing the same. Many will be volunteering their time, all in Trooper Gadd’s honor.
