A driver fleeing police jumped a partially-opened University Bridge in Seattle.
SEATTLE — New police dashcam video shows the moments a driver in a stolen vehicle jumped a partially-opened University Bridge while fleeing officers last week.
On Wednesday, Sept. 17, police officers saw a vehicle with a license plate that came back as stolen and followed it but did not initiate a pursuit. They lost sight of the vehicle.
Later, the vehicle was found stuck in traffic at the University Bridge, according to police. Officers tried to stop the vehicle but it drove off.
