Police say the 28-year-old suspect robbed a man of $3,000 in late July. The man’s body was found the next morning.
BELLEVUE, Wash. — After seven weeks on the run, the suspect in a deadly robbery in Bellevue’s Eastgate neighborhood has been arrested.
Samuel Hitchcock, 28, was arrested in Portland on Sept. 17, according to a Bellevue Police Department blotter post. The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Hitchcock with first-degree murder on Aug. 22 while he was still on the run.
