2 injured in three-alarm blaze on northbound I-5 that affected homes in Seattle’s Beacon Hill neighborhood

Four homes were affected on the 2500 block of South Myrtle Street. 10 people were evacuated.

SEATTLE — Crews responded to a two-alarm fire that began around 3:50 p.m. Sunday on the side of northbound Interstate 5 near Seattle’s Beacon Hill neighborhood. The fire was later upgraded to three alarms after spreading to multiple homes. It has since been extinguished, with 125 firefighters dispatched, according to the Seattle Fire Department.
