CHEHALIS, Wash. — State Route 6 is back open after an experimental aircraft crash prompted a two-hour closure.
The crash occurred around noon Thursday in a field near the Chehalis River and state Route 6, according to the Chehalis Police Department. The pilot, a 55-year-old man, was transported to the hospital for medical attention. His condition is currently unknown.
The Chehalis Police Department said the crash is under investigation, and no additional information is available at this time.
