SEATTLE — The Mariners are asking fans for feedback, not about the roar of the crowd, but about the amplified street preachers who have become a game-day fixture outside T-Mobile Park.
The team recently launched an online “Amplified Noise Survey,” asking attendees how the loud sermons affect their experience.
During recent public comment at a Seattle City Council meeting, one resident said he measured the preachers’ volume at more than 110 decibels — peaking at 121.7 — as families waited in line to enter the ballpark. That’s well
