The change will affect Puget Sound-area employees first. They will be expected to be in office three days a week by the end of February 2026.

SEATTLE — Microsoft will require employees to be in the office three days a week.

The change was announced in a message from Microsoft Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer Amy Coleman on Tuesday morning. Previously, the company allowed employees to work from home about 50% of the time.
