A Thurston County man was arrested for murder in the death of Amanda Green, a Tacoma woman who went missing in 2021.
THURSTON COUNTY, Wash. — Over the weekend, a suspect was arrested on suspicion of murder in the death of Amanda Green, who was reported missing out of Tacoma in 2021.
The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office said they had a lead on a person of interest back in 2022, but there was not enough evidence to arrest him. In March of this year, investigators refocused their attentions on that suspect, eventually leading to the discovery of Green’s body in Lewis County.
