Gov. Ferguson gives tentative date range for reopening White River Bridge

The White River Bridge was closed in mid-August. The detour adds nearly an hour to travel time. Here’s when the bridge will tentatively reopen.

ENUMCLAW, Wash. — On Monday, Gov. Bob Ferguson announced a tentative date range during which the state is hoping to reopen the White River Bridge: Between Oct. 31 and Nov. 15. 

The White River Bridge has been closed since Aug. 18, when a semi-truck ran into it and heavily damaged the structure. The bridge is a crucial link over the White River. Without it, the detour can add more than an hour to travel time.
