The San Francisco 49ers listed Christian McCaffrey as a limited participant on Thursday’s injury report with a calf injury, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. McCaffrey has a history with calf problems, but Achilles tendinitis is what kept him out for the bulk of the 2024 season. But, this is yet another lower leg injury, which has plagued McCaffrey of late.
At this point, we are waiting for more information on the injury. The team could just being extra cautious or he could have suffered a significant injury in practice, being forced to leave. We will know more sooner than later, as we’ll know if he returns to practice on Friday or
