Fire that displaced about 60 people in Shoreline under investigation

Firefighters extinguish a Shoreline apartment fire displacing 60 people, cause still under investigation.

SHORELINE, Wash. — The cause of a fire that initially displaced about 60 people at a Shoreline apartment complex on Tuesday remains under investigation.

Firefighters were called to the 16000 block of Linden Avenue North around 7 p.m. for the fire that spread to three units on the second, third and fourth floors. 

The fire was extinguished around 8 p.m. As the flames were extinguished, fire crews rescued multiple pets, according to the Shoreline Fire Department.

No injuries were reported and Red Cross was called to the scene to
