SEATTLE — The scorching conditions in western Washington through the weekend will continue Monday, with high temperatures expected to near 90 degrees across the region.

An Extreme Heat Warning remains in effect for Seattle and Tacoma, while Everett and much of the rest of western Washington are under a Heat Advisory. A Red Flag Warning is also in effect for the west slopes of the North and Central Cascades as several wildfires continue to burn in the state.
