La Niña conditions could develop this fall and early winter, creating greater chances of cool and wet weather in western Washington.
SEATTLE — A shift in the Pacific Northwest’s overall weather pattern is likely on the way.
The National Weather Service’s Climate Prediction Center issued a La Niña Watch last week, which means those conditions could develop in the next six months.
