TACOMA, Wash. — With fewer than 300 days remaining until the 2026 FIFA World Cup, excitement is building across western Washington, particularly in Tacoma, which has been selected as one of the tournament’s official fan zones.
Pierce County leaders are preparing to welcome the world, and the anticipated economic boost that comes with it, as the Seattle area readies for an influx of more than 750,000 visitors.
