Court revives oversight law for Tacoma immigration detention center

TACOMA, Wash. — A federal appeals court on Tuesday cleared the way for Washington state to enforce parts of a law requiring stricter health and safety standards at the privately run immigration detention center in Tacoma, reversing a lower court ruling that had blocked the law.
