An Auburn car equipment firm will sell most of its stores and filed for bankruptcy to ease transactions.
AUBURN, Wash. — An Auburn-based car equipment business will sell off the majority of its stores nationwide and has filed for voluntary Chapter 11 Bankruptcy to “facilitate” the transactions.
Thirty-five of Car Toys’ stores, including eight of the 12 in western Washington, will be sold to five different parties. The company did not specify in a press release why it has decided to sell the majority of its locations.
