Kent man accused of murder pleads not guilty in deadly July shooting

A Kent man pleads not guilty to murder charges after being accused of a deadly apartment shooting in July.

KENT, Wash. — A 51-year-old Kent man accused of beating two men and shooting two others in July pleaded not guilty to murder charges on Thursday.

Alphonzo Kelly is facing two counts of first-degree murder, unlawful possession of a firearm and second-degree assault charges.

Kelly is being held without bail. His next court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 18.
