Gator’s Custom Guns filed a lawsuit against a Washington law banning the sale of high-capacity magazines, but it was upheld within the state.
WASHINGTON, D.C., USA — A Washington gun store filed a petition this week with the U.S. Supreme Court in hopes of overturning the state’s high-capacity magazine ban.
Gator’s Custom Guns in Cowlitz County has been arguing for years that the state’s ban on selling magazines that hold more than 10 rounds is unconstitutional. The state sued the gun store for continuing to offer high-capacity magazines even after they were banned.
