‘Adding insult to injury’: Arson victim’s sister says Wallingford home was looted

Prosecutors dropped murder and arson charges against the man accused of killing 72-year-old Susan Lisette Klee in a house fire.

SEATTLE — The sister of a woman who was killed in a June house fire returned to the home Monday, days after charges were dropped against the arson suspect.

Two months after a fire killed 72-year-old Susan Klee in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood, the man who was accused for setting the blaze was released from jail. 

King County prosecutors dropped murder and arson charges last week, citing new evidence that raised doubts about the man’s involvement.
