“My Daughter is a Zombie” maintained its grip on the Korean box office over the Aug. 8–10 weekend, earning $5.9 million from 840,484 admissions.
According to KOBIS, the tracking service operated by the Korean Film Council, the film has grossed $22.7 million since its July 30 debut. Directed by Pil Gam-sung, the film is based on the webtoon of the same name. The comedy follows a doting father who embarks on a top-secret training mission to protect his daughter – the last remaining zombie in the world.
