She was trying to turn her life around when someone cut her life short.
BELLINGHAM, Wash. — It has been 17 years since 32-year-old Shannon Lathrop went missing and her body was later discovered badly burned at a known dumping site not far from Bellingham.
Little is known about Lathrop’s case which initially started as a missing persons case and then turned into a homicide case.
Lathrop was working on turning her life around when she went missing. She had been in and out of jail for drug charges and was working with a counselor for psychiatric help.
