Court filings indicate the company plans to close 18 stores across the country by September 7.
WOODINVILLE, Wash. — Mall-based teen accessories retailer Claire’s has identified over a dozen locations it plans to close nationwide, one of which is in King County.
The Claire’s store in the Woodinville Plaza will shutter along with 17 other locations across 13 states. Parent company of Claire’s and Icing, Claire’s U.S. included the store closure plans in a filing in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware on Wednesday. This marks the second time since 2018 that the company has filed for bankruptcy.
