A man is arrested after threatening bus passengers with a knife and fleeing in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood.

SEATTLE — A man is in custody after allegedly threatening passengers with a knife and smashing several windows on a King County Metro bus early Wednesday morning in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood.

According to the King County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and Seattle police officers responded to the intersection of Third Avenue and Bell Street around 4:30 a.m. after receiving a report of an agitated passenger. Radio traffic captured by Broadcastify indicates that the individual was described as suicidal and armed with a knife, allegedly threatening others onboard the bus.
