BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The man suspected of shooting a Lummi Nation police officer has been charged with attempted murder.
Officials revealed late Wednesday the suspect is a fugitive from Colorado.
The 37-year-old Lummi police officer remains in stable condition after undergoing two surgeries and being placed in a medically induced coma following the Monday morning shooting.
