The gun violence reduction unit is investigating the incident on Aurora Avenue North; one suspect detained.
SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating an armed robbery that turned into a shooting Tuesday afternoon at an apartment building in the 8700 block of Aurora Avenue North.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 2:22 p.m. and located a man with a gunshot wound to the chest about 25 minutes later. Police said it’s unclear whether the man was one of the robbery suspects or the victim.
The man, believed to be about 36 years old, was in critical condition and was taken to Harborview Medical
