The annual report is created by the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs.
SEATTLE — Crimes rates in Washington went down in 2024, according to the annual report by the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs (WASPC) released Monday.
Overall, Washington saw 480,875 crimes, including 29,210 violent offenses, in 2024. In 2023, the state saw 526,994 total crimes, including 31,711 violent offenses.
