Raye is set to be recognized with the Songwriter Advocate award at the upcoming inaugural Ivors Academy Honours Ceremony, meant to acknowledge those driving positive change for composers and songwriters.
The event will take place Oct. 2 at InterContinental London Park Lane. The non-profit Ivors Academy seeks to “ensure that songwriters and composers are fairly compensated, and fully respected and supported throughout their careers.”
