NBC has greenlit the comedy series “Stumble,” Variety has learned.
Originally ordered to pilot back in March, the series is set in the world of competitive cheerleading. The cast includes Jenn Lyon, Taran Killam, Ryan Pinkston, Jarrett Austin Brown, Anissa Borrego, Arianna Davis, Taylor Dunbar, and Georgie Murphy. Kristin Chenoweth will recur.
The official logline for the series states, “Coach Courteney Potter (Lyon) is determined to rally her newly recruited junior college cheer squad to win her record-breaking 15th championship and improve their lives along the way.”
