A small plane crash in Olympic National Park has left one dead and two injured.
QUINAULT, Wash. — One person is dead and two others injured after a small plane crashed in the Olympic National Park near Quinault on Wednesday.
The crash is in a remote, forested area north of the Irely Lake Trailhead, according to the National Park Service.
Park rangers were notified of the crash shortly before 7 a.m. Rangers coordinated a response with Naval Air Station Whidbey Island Search and Rescue.
The occupants of the Murphy SR3500 Moose aircraft were taken to the hospital.
