Paramedic revives puppy with Narcan in Lacey

After the dog’s revival, ‘he was licking lots of folks,’ a lieutenant said.

OLYMPIA, Wash. — A Lacey paramedic revived an unconscious puppy, possibly exposed to fentanyl, with Narcan Tuesday.

“This is a first,” said Lacey Fire District 3 Lt. Bryce Craig, who has worked as a firefighter and paramedic for 17 years.

On Tuesday morning, the Nisqually Police Department called for a medical evaluation of a person under investigation in the parking lot of a mini-mart in the 12800 block of Yelm Highway SE.
