The City of Bothell has removed off-street parking minimums in an effort to boost business growth and walkability.
BOTHELL, Wash. — The City of Bothell is eliminating off-street parking minimums for new businesses in an effort to promote density, reduce pollution and improve walkability.
Under the new ordinance, businesses are no longer required to provide a minimum number of parking spaces in lots or garages, a shift city leaders say is designed to make way for more retail, housing and local services.
