CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. — Federal authorities have mobilized a multi-agency search operation in Idaho’s Sawtooth National Forest following a possible sighting of Travis Decker, the Chelan County father charged with kidnapping and killing his three young daughters.
The U.S. Marshal’s Service Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force began coordinating with the U.S. Forest Service and local sheriff’s office on Monday morning to canvas the remote wilderness area after receiving a report of a possible Decker sighting in the Bear Creek area, northwest of the Bear Creek Transfer Station, over the holiday weekend.
