While coyote sightings in Ballard and surrounding neighborhoods are not new, some residents are unsettled by their daytime appearances.
SEATTLE — Residents in Seattle’s Loyal Heights neighborhood are on alert after recent coyote sightings, including a close encounter on the Loyal Heights Playfield around 7 a.m. one day last month.
