SEATTLE — Seafair festivities may have come and gone, but this year became even more special to a Shoreline woman.
Mercy Haub was named the first-ever Seafair Community Hero for the 2025 celebrations, festivities she has seen for years as a spectator.
“It’s so fun,” Haub said, “It’s so Seattle.
This year – Haub took in Seafair from the front row recognized for her work as a Make-A-Wish and Fred Hutch Cancer Center supporter.
