Despite their grief, those who gathered by the water Thursday evening were determined to keep Jayda Woods-Johnson’s joy alive.
MUKILTEO, Wash. — Family and friends of Jayda Woods-Johnson gathered at Mukilteo Lighthouse Park Thursday evening to mark one year since the 13-year-old was killed by a stray bullet at Alderwood Mall.
Woods-Johnson’s loved ones came together by the water to honor her memory with a bonfire and share stories about the teen who touched so many lives.
