Kirkland community unites in ongoing search for missing 21-year-old with autism

Jonathan Hoang has been missing for more than three months.

KIRKLAND, Wash. — Volunteers canvassed Kirkland Wednesday, going block by block in the search for Jonathan Hoang, a 21-year-old man with autism who has been missing for more than three months.

Hoang’s family organized the community search, distributing missing person fliers and urging residents to keep an eye out for Jonathan.

“It’s my worst nightmare,” said Miranda Rambin, one of the volunteers.

Rambin, who also has a son with autism, said she is determined to raise awareness and encourage others to help.
