SPANAWAY, Wash. — More than two years after a 39-year-old mother was fatally shot outside a Spanaway 7-Eleven, the man accused of pulling the trigger is standing trial for her death.
Opening statements began Monday in the murder trial of 43-year-old Jerrmell Warren, who is charged with second-degree murder in the May 2022 killing of Angelina Palmer. Prosecutors say Palmer, a mother of nine, was an innocent bystander when she was struck by a bullet during a chaotic confrontation.
