‘I’m not touching that!’: Neighbors in Northeast Portland deal with bottles of urine left near homes

Neighbors have been dealing with the problem for months and say getting help disposing of the human waste is challenging.

PORTLAND, Oregon — Neighbors in Northeast Portland said someone left what appeared to be six one-gallon water bottles filled with urine near Northeast 70th Avenue and Beech Street.

“What do I do with it?” wondered Jean, who found the urine bottles Tuesday morning among her recyclables on a gravel median next to the street.

“Somebody said, ‘Take it into the house and put it down the drain,’ she said. “I’m not touching that!”
