Olympia police are looking for three more people involved in alleged assault.
OLYMPIA, Wash. — A woman was beaten, hit with a baseball bat, and had a gun shoved in her mouth during an assault last week at the homeless encampment known as “The Jungle,” according to the Olympia Police Department.
Investigators believe seven people were responsible, four have been arrested.
“The allegations are disturbing on a great number of levels,” Thurston County Judge John Skinder said at a preliminary hearing for one of the women accused of hitting the woman with the bat.
He ordered the woman held on $350,000 bail.
