Police say they found the suspect dead inside the car off Ketron Island.
KETRON ISLAND, Wash. — A man accused of stabbing his girlfriend to death drove his car off the Ketron Island ferry dock late Sunday night, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD).
The man was found dead inside the submerged car late Monday morning.
At around 9 p.m. on Sunday, a call came into 911 dispatch reporting that a man living on Ketron Island had stabbed his girlfriend. Neighbors found the woman with multiple stab wounds and tried to provide aid, but she was later pronounced dead.
