A woman officers encountered when they first arrived on scene was taken to the hospital with at least one gunshot wound.
SEATTLE — A suspect was found dead after an hours-long standoff following a shooting of his partner and shots fired at officers near Washington Park on Friday.
The suspect was barricaded inside his residence for hours after police responded to a domestic violence call and found a woman outside who had been shot. Police later learned that the woman was the partner of the suspect.
