SEATTLE — The Seattle City Council on Tuesday approved the adoption of a new technology to track suspect criminal vehicles without the need to pursue them.
The council approved the use of StarChase GPS trackers for the Seattle Police Department in an 8-1 vote.
StarChase allows police to track the precise location of fleeing suspect vehicles.
