Marshals arrest fugitive who escaped custody at Sea-Tac while handcuffed

SEATTLE — U.S. Marshals have arrested Sedric Stevenson, 29, a fugitive who escaped custody in May at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport while being extradited to Kentucky.

Stevenson was taken into custody Wednesday after officers served a search warrant in the 1400 block of Madison Street near Seattle University, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

He was wanted in Kentucky on multiple charges, including being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, third-degree assault and first-degree enhanced possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
