The girl was located midday Saturday after an Amber Alert was issued.
TACOMA, Wash. — An Amber Alert was canceled after a 2-year-old who was reportedly abducted in Tacoma Saturday morning was found.
According to the Tacoma Police Department, a stranger picked the girl up when she was walking near South Steele Street, placed her in his vehicle and drove away.
The Amber Alert was issued around 11:30 a.m. and canceled around 12:30 p.m. The child was found unharmed and reunited with her family.
The girl was still in Pierce County when she was found.
A suspect is in custody.
