The hospital says the layoffs come after a hiring spree in the last 12 months due to a “significant RN staffing crisis.”
EVERETT, Wash. — Providence Swedish’s Everett facility will lay off over 100 nursing assistants next month.
The hospital chain confirmed that 108 total certified nursing assistants (CNAs) will be impacted by the layoffs, which go into effect on July 11. Seven other CNAs accepted voluntary separation agreements, the company said.
